A pleasant modern hotel at the very heart of Zagreb, literally 2 minutes from the main square. I especially enjoyed the different lighting modes in the room, which can provide you with different types of atmosphere. As my stay was quite short, I only regret not having enough time to experience the swimming pool. However, this is a hotel to recommend.

We stayed at Casablanca around Christmas time, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The girl at the front desk was super helpful - she gave us a map and marked out the best festive spots to visit in the city during the holidays. Thanks to her, we got to explore the main Christmas markets and even had the chance to try some Croatian national dishes at the Zagreb Festival food court. We also enjoyed a concert by the famous Croatian singer Marko Tolya - now he’s going to be on top of our playlists for future trips! It was such a genuine and amazing experience. The room was comfy and had everything we needed for our one-night stay, but it would definitely be great for longer stays too. Oh, and yes, the breakfast! It was such a nice touch that in the morning, when we went down to dine, we were asked what type of eggs we’d like with our breakfast. Then, right next to the buffet, they made the eggs exactly how we wanted. Meanwhile, we enjoyed the other varieties of food offered by the hotel. Such a thoughtful and personal experience! We’ve already decided that if we visit Zagreb again, we’ll definitely book a room at Casablanca.

Clean, simple and quiet urban comfort, with small kitchenette & amenities suitable for basic food prep and storage of groceries. Good shower. Our tall child slept very comfortably on the wide, firm fold out sofa. Fold out suitable for a tall adult or 2 children. Or even a couple. Very newly renovated. (Review for the largest double apartment) Nearby parking expensive. 24 hr parking at Javna Garaža Kvaternikov Trg is €6.60. Tram line 11 or 12 direct from 200 m away. Easy, cheap parking solution. Rose helped our late booking get comfortable in no time. Great welcome!
