Great location with a beautiful view of Croagh Patrick. Private apartment from main house that has all amenities you need. Super comfortable beds, lovely furniture and modernly decorated. Breakfast items provided as well which were fresh and very tasty. We were in Westport for a wedding and had a great stay. We would definitely stay here again to explore the local area/Westport.

Clear instructions were emailed to use for access. The house and the setting are breathtaking. Aidan has used really great quality fixtures and fittings. There were great touches like some milk and butter in the fridge and some snacks. Lots of recommendations listed out. We couldn’t fault anything. Everything worked and the house was spotless. Great to see house martins nesting. I also saw a beautiful hare. Perfect!

A very warm and friendly welcome was the start to four pleasant and interesting days in the area. Our room and the beds were very comfortable. We very much enjoyed the traditional cooked breakfast - a great start for the day! Thanks again to our host for the frienddly and generous hospitality!

Very welcoming and friendly stuff, the apartment with the breakfast overall was good-valued. The beds were comfortable, our two-bedroom apartment was in a separate building as the pub, there was no noise. There was a lift in the apartment building we were in. A code-access covered carpark is also available. We had dinner and of course Guinness at The Helm too, all were fabulous. Will definitely choose The Helm again if I re-visit West Ireland.

    Such a peaceful and cosy cabin. I was concerned that it might be cold but it was lovely and there is a heater if needed. It is in a beautiful location and I found it very easy to relax there. Thoughtfully decorated to give privacy but also enjoy the setting.

    Really cosy cabin in a beautiful location. Maria was really helpful and gave us plenty of great advice for what to do. Really nice touches with snacks left out for us and games. Highly recommend!

    Beautiful place, great views . Mary is very friendly and helpful, this is a lovely clean cabin with great views and set in a peaceful location about 10 minutes from Louisburg and 10 minutes from great pubs and restaurants.
