Me and wife have recently stayed at Matidera resorts in Kanatal for 3 days and we found it to be very nice homely and hospitable.They lit bonfire virtually everyday for guests and create party kind atmosphere with amazing snacks and tasty food. Staffs are very courteous especially Shubham. He is the best and always keeps smile on his face. Resort Manager Mukesh is also very supportive and not to forget the generosity of property owner Vijay who is very sweet and polite. He especially arranged cake from his side during our anniversary celebrations making our stay quite memorable. It's a must visit destination at least once.

Wonderful and peaceful stay. View from the The Grand View Resort Dhanaulti is beautiful and the property is located at a very peaceful location. Parking is on the side of the road and then we had to take some stairs for the property. That shouldn't be an issue if you are well and fit. All in all it was an excellent experience.

Great view and helpful staff. The place is a small house in mountains with a big terrace. The view was spectacular. There’re no shops or restaurants around, but the staff cooks for you on request. The food was delicious.

This is the ideal place to escape the fast-paced modern world and discover your hidden artistic abilities. The rooms are comfortably furnished, and the views? Simply spectacular. However, none of this would be possible without the exceptional staff. My stay was made so much better thanks to their warm attentiveness, nothing was ever too much trouble. Kamal, a true gem, is a man of many talents: from preparing delicious meals to maintaining the property, and even tending to all the decorative plants. I must also mention his right-hand man, Davinder, who was always cheerful and attentive. Gentlemen, thank you both for making my stay unforgettable. A special thanks to the owners, Anjali and Tapan, who took a genuine interest in my well-being. I felt more like a relative than a guest, and for a solo female traveler, that level of care and hospitality is truly priceless. If you're searching for a hidden gem, look no further—this is it. The Deodar Stays is a beautiful new hotel in the Himalayas with very comfortable and cozy cabins from which one enjoys a stunning view onto the foothills of the Himalayas and the famous Surkanda Devi Temple which is just 10 km away by car. The view towards the eternal snow peaks of the Himalayas can be enjoyed after a short 10-minute walk. The hotel is located in a cedar forest and offers a quiet retreat from the busy world. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food being served at the hotel restaurant is excellent. I very much recommend this hotel.
