A peaceful cabin in the middle of a "wood", the host decorated with detail and so passionate that I can feel it. You have everything that you need. Certainly if I comeback to Iceland I will book this cabin. Only one caveat, make sure when you come still have daylight to find the cabin.

It was a great little guest house, very cozy and well out into the country. The shared spaces were comfortable and it was nice to be away from the city for a night. Akranes is one of our favorite day trips from Reykjavík and there is lots to enjoy in that small town, this is a lovely place with great beaches, an amazing light house (singing or playing an instrument in the lighthouse is amazing! be sure to try it even if you don't sing well!) This was a very cozy stop.

Great flat, warm welcome . Everything was absolutely perfect- only parking was sometimes a bit tricky - as parking space on street of course is limited . Needed to drive some extra mile but managed to get a slot nearby most times

Great localisation. Poor wi-fi, but other than that it's great - spacious, with free parking spot and short walk to the city center and even shorter to the port:) Do not hesitate, it's a great place to stay. Comfortable beds!

My recent stay at Vesturgata 14 in Reykjavík was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations. Just a short walk away, I found myself in the vibrant heart of Reykjavík, surrounded by cozy cafés, excellent restaurants, cultural landmarks, and scenic waterfront paths. Despite its proximity to the city center, the area remained quiet and calm, ensuring restful nights and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the stay. The apartment itself was cosy. Spacious and tastefully decorated in a modern Scandinavian style, it offered everything one might need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable. Equally impressive was the interaction with the host. Communication was smooth, timely, and welcoming. I like the area and room and size of room. i like that there was hair dryer, tea maker and coffee machine, those are so useful. It was clean. The room was so modern. there were mugs and glasses what I found practicslly useful. Price value ratio is fine. I would recommend this hostel to others. :) We had great time there.

Nice, big, clean and well equiped room incl. coffee and tea. We also appreceated kitchen for making our meals. Bathrooms, even shared ones, were very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to port, city center or bus to the airport. You can store your bags before check-in/after check-out. We can highly recomend
