I spent only one night at this guesthouse, but I had a really great time. The position is excellent in the middle of the town with a wide space where to park the car. The room was clean, cozy and had plenty of space; the same for the living room where you can just sit on the sofa or the armchair and enjoy the view. There are three bathrooms, two of them with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. Additionally, it was very easy to communicate with the host, who promptly gave instructions about the check-in. I highly recommend this place if you're travelling around Snæfellsnes.

Grundarfjördur Hostel is just a short five-minute drive away several restaurants, including one where we stopped called Kaffi 59, and Kirkjufellsfoss, one of the highlights of Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The shared living area and kitchen were spacious, with plenty of light, a refrigerator, and cooking facilities. Everything was clean and it was quiet at night even though there were other guests in the house.
