Very idillic place. It was so nice to enjoy the evening on the small shared terrace and listen to all the wild birds around. Incredible how many different sounds there were! The room was also very comfortable. Decent cold breakfast as well.

Expectional value for money - fantastic location (some nice walking and hiking paths), possibility of doing your laundry, well stocked and new kitchen. The breakfast (2000 ISK per person) was delicious and well worth it. We actually happened to be the only ones there that night so the owner upgraded us to a larger room which was so nice of her. You can also buy hand-knitten lopapeysas, hats etc on the spot.
