Cozy little cabin in the middle of Icelandic nature. We arrived in the evening tired after long hike and we found everything we needed there. Kitchen was well equipped, there ran hot water in the shower and bed was super comfortable. From all places we stayed during our holiday this cabin was our favourite ❤️

The sitting area is fantastic, there is a small kitchen where you can prepare your breakfast or get one at the property. Our big room with private bathroom was facing Vik and the big balcony style windows offer a beautiful view.

Everything is super clean. The small cottages are well though out for their small size. Cookies, tea, basic spices, shampoos, cleaning equipment and a hair dryer were the highlights regarding accessories in the room. The bed is very comfy! The shower flow is a bit low, but nothing too bad.

This farm property offers a restaurant, small bar area, lounge and terrace. Public area Wi-Fi and parking are free.

This was by far our favorite guesthouse in Iceland that we went to. We walked to the plane wreck and when we came back we were surprised by a snow storm and due to that a closed main road. We waited there for a while and then mountain guides led u trough their basecamp some minutes away to stay there for a while. We were happily surprised that there was a guesthouse 600m away so after an hour we decided to give it a go and drive there. Our car got stuck in the snow on the driveway of Sólheimahjáleiga guesthouse. The staff was very nice and cleaned the road with their tractor and managed to pull us backwards. In the evening, we ate the best lamb we had in Iceland, saw the northern lights and slept in a comfortable bed and clean room. The breakfast was very good as well! Thank you very much!

Lovely house, great view, super close to the black beach. Spacious and very clean. Contacting the host was super simple and they were very responsive.

excellent location with good restaurants nearby ( best to drive there especially if it is raining). Host was very nice and attended to our needs. we loved the pancake barter that the host had generously provided for us to make pancake for breakfast :). excellent for family in this 2 room apartment.

Great hospitality - Esteban was very friendly to show the rooms, open hotel areas etc. Everything was just perfect - you can feel that owner and stuff care about you a lot. Moreover, you can feel like at home because everything is very well prepared in cozy style. If you are tired of big stock hotels that nobody cares about you - you should come here :)
