Residenza Betteloni was the ideal location for our visit to Bardolino. The property is central, and is within a short walk of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, as well as the waterfront on Lake Garda. Elisa and Pietro met us on our arrival, and made us feel welcome. They provided us with lots of useful information, and were available if we needed anything throughout our stay. The apartment is newly renovated, is clean and modern, and contains everything you might need. Although Residenza Betteloni is in the heart of the action, it was perfectly quiet when we closed the windows in the evening. We had a really relaxing visit, and, in particular, we enjoyed having prosecco on the terrace. This is the perfect location for exploring Lake Garda, and we hope to return.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Staff very welcoming, helpful and obviously very passionate about the property and indeed Bardolino itself. Rooms are very clean and fresh, breakfast is lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Highly recommended! :)

This is an absolutely amazing place to stay. In effect a small family run hotel (12 rooms in total including 4 in an annexe) with lovely and well kept grounds and large swimming pool/jacuzzi area. Being on a hill overlooking the town of Bardolino there is a great view over the town and Lake Garda whilst having breakfast on the terrace. Sara, front of house, is a gem! Whilst out of the town it is not isolated as such. There is a regular shuttle bus (June to October) that has a stop just 100 metres down the road at the entrance to a local school. The journey costs €1.30 pp and takes about 15 minutes to get to Bardolino. As Casaliva is in an effective cul de sac/no through road it is quiet with not much traffic at all. There are 2 good restaurants just 5 mins and 10 mins walk respectively down the same road as Casaliva (our favourite was La Rocca), passing olive trees and vinyards on your left, but Casaliva also has a snacks service throughout the day up to 8 pm doing salads, pizza and a burger for example. They also sell wine and beer all at reasonable prices. Most of the clientele is German due to historic links with the area from the days of the Austrian empire. So, German is pretty much the second language in the area but English is of course widely spoken. The Germans know a good thing when they experience it – we English need to join them at Casaliva. You won’t regret it!

    Everything it was perfect and we will recommend it to everyone we know. The lady that welcomed us was very friendly and helpful and made us feel like home. The property is in a great location. Very clean and tidy and has everything you need including ironing board and iron. We wished we stayed longer.

    Our apartment 4B was very well appointed, spotlessly clean with very good aircon. We had very prompt communication with our hosts Pietro and Elisa before and during our stay of 12 nights in June. A very friendly and welcoming couple who helped us with any queries and allowed us to store our luggage on day of departure. Perfect location in historic centre of Bardolino and no noise at night once windows closed. Ferry and bus station close by to explore the beauty of Lago Di Garda.

    Location was good, approximately 30-35 minutes walk to Lazise one way, then Bardilino the other way. Breakfast excellent, ate a few times in hotel in the evening, again good food and choice. Staff very accommodating and friendly (apart from one receptionist who could smile more often!) Hotel and area very clean, beds and pillows just a tad firm for my liking, but that is personal choice. Could not fault the hotel, the swimming pool is approximately few minutes from main hotel, set in well kept grounds, spotless!
