Great stay in a 1500 year old castle! Enjoyed the afternoon by the pool and exploring the grounds. The host was very welcoming. We had a delicious pizza prepared on-site for dinner with wine on the balcony. The atmosphere was great in this building due to its age. There was no aircon but it stayed cool in the building due to the thickness of the walls, it was 32C but still cool in the bedroom. There was only one other couple staying so we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

I was super happy with my stay at this hotel! The staff were so lovely and helpful - true Italian friendliness/hospitality at its best. T They really took care of everything I needed, like helping me find a taxi for the wedding and even getting me a steamer for my dress. Huge thanks to Pietro and the whole team! The rooms were modern, super clean, and the AC worked like a charm. It’s not a place people usually visit often, but honestly, I’d happily come back if I get the chance (another wedding maybe?).

Location excellent for visiting friends and family with superb views from our very quiet room overlooking the valley and the mountains. A good start point for walkers to visit the Parco di Monteveccia and the valley of Curone. Superb breakfast to start the day and the staff were very pleasant and helpful full of knowledge about the hotel and the area.

Elise was phenomenal! She was incredibly nice, spoke perfect English (we are American and needed all the help we could get!) and helped with all aspects of our stay, from planning breakfast, helping to arrange transportation, and making great recommendations for sight seeing and visit planning. Good location in a quiet village in Como area. Very close (5 min. walk) to a train station, that can take you to Milan or Lecco. There is a small yard where the owners park, but near the house (100 m) is a free parking at the church which is a better option. Very welcoming and friendly owners, who served breakfast in our room!
