I have probably spent close to a thousand nights of my life so far in different hotels of different categories in different parts of the world - from world class 5* to small, family run hostels and the hospitality we received here was one of the best I have ever experienced. For instance, the owners organized a (free) Aperó for all the guests of the hotel with local specialties and wine one night as a get together and people stayed until 1.30 am just chatting. We got an upgrade as we brought our little baby and were invited to try out the SPA in the morning without further conditions. Needless to say we were treated with great friendliness and politeness all the time, the hotel is beautiful, close to the beach and has an awesome budget pizza place right next door for a snack at night. We would definitely come back and can only say thank you to Ana and Massimo for the awesome experience.

Don Alfonso is really a place to relax and enjoy your vacation. Very beautiful place, clean, luxurious and quiet. The staff is VERY friendly and makes the guest feel 100% comfortable. The Lady at the reception took such good care of us and even gave us a lot of tips what to visit and where to eat. The breakfast ist a very nice mix of sweet and salty, typical Italian foods. Everything is carefully chosen and the service personnel is also very friendly. Racale is not directly at the beach but there are a lot of beaches nearby, easily accessible by car. We really recommend staying there, to enjoy your stay in Salento!!

The breakfast was amazing :) You will find the homemade, local patisseries for breakfast. It was the most satisfying breakfast experience I have ever had in Europe. The facility offers a special beach to customers at a good price. But if you don't want to go to the suggested beach, they can help for other activities. One day they helped us with booking a boat tour, the other day, when we wanted to go to one of the famous beaches (there is no facility in that beach), they gave us an umbrella and sun beds. :) My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The staff was extraordinarily hospitable to us; they made small gestures while spending time in the garden of the hotel. I strongly recommend 'Badia De Casale' to couples for romantic trips.

We highly recommend this wonderful place. Our host served us the most amazing breakfast on the roof top, which is little oasis with view over all of Felline. She even went all out and fulfilled our vegan request.

Exactly what we needed- a beautiful, clean hotel with really nice staff, European standard, good protein breakfast which is hard to find in this region. We had a great, relaxing time and worried about nothing. Only 20 minutes from Gallipoli but it also let’s you explore beautiful coast on the South. Thank you!
