Calm, near historical villages, in the middle of the countryside. great to completely disconnect from urban contexts. pool seems nice too though open during summer only. comfy place also for friends adventuring through Tuscany. nice barbecue/fireplace where you can grill your meat. not far from the hot springs (thermal baths) of Saturnia.

The town is lovely - it was VERY quiet when we went (early June) and the pensione is off the main square down a very short walkway/alley full of flowers. Luckily we found legal parking just outside the wall of the town so we didn't have far to walk to get our stuff into the room.

Super clean, stylish and comfortable, quite unexpected for the old and charming town of Pitigliano. We loved our stay here. We had room 101, which has its own separate entrance (if you want) and a lounge room. Pitigliano was one of our fave places in Italy and La Bartolomea Suites was the icing on the cake. It’s in the heart of the old town, there’s good coffee and free bottled water too! Love.

To stay here was fantastic! The place is absolutely adorable. The owner Stefania was the nicest host we met during two weeks travelling around Italy. She made everything to make us feel welcome, comfortable and home. The room was so clean and nice and the breakfast very good! The environment and atmosphere in the village outstanding. Even though we only stayed for one night at their place, we felt so welcome. Lucilla and her family are full of love for what they are doing and know how to make your stay special. Thanks to them we got to know some traditional food of the region. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast at their place. We enjoyed the wonderful location and the beautiful scenary around us with olive trees & wine plants. What a view!

    Everything! Beautiful, comfortable hotel and gardens..Perfect location to explore the local area. Very warm welcome, staff attentive and friendly. Excellent breakfast with a good choice of cut meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon. Also a selection of homemade cakes, pastries, yogurts, friut etc. Highly recommend.

    The welcome and very friendly staff - all were so kind and helpful. Everything we asked for and it was possible we recieved with a smile. The location is unique - the village the house and the surrounding are all authentic. The swimming pool is beautiful. Great relaxing atmosphere. Free and safe car parking.

    An exceptional location. You can literally move back in time when you take a stroll from the backyard of the house. A short walk takes you - through an ancient path cut in the rock - directly into an Archeological Park with unique Etruscian tombs, Other ancient paths as well as historical cities with a real medieval feel are just a few miles away.
