This place is simply brilliant! It looks modern, stylish and like it was done up last week. The rooms (I had a deluxe room) are beautiful and spacious, very comfortable bed, lovely view, plentiful and tasty breakfast and above all the most helpful team of staff I have encountered in Europe, ever. There's a bar / restaurant that does pizza, burgers and a bit of pasta, all good quality and the place gets frequented in summer by hikers, bikers and other active types. Lovely sauna (available 16:30 - 20.00 in summer), space to store bikes and you can charge your electric vehicle should you need it. Absolultely loved this place.

We were cycle touring and wanted a two night base to cycle Stelvio Pass. This couldn’t have been more perfect. The apartment was wonderfully equipped, very comfortable and modern. There was also secure storage for our bikes in the garage. Great communication from the owner. Many thanks.

    Passable propety ate the heaven place. It is the perfect location for second day exploration of Passo Stelvio. The views are unforgettable. The peace of surroundings, the nature is something not to miss. A "marmotte" all around the property is an extra.

    This place is very nice, with perfect location and many possibilities for mountain walks. Food is tasty and staff is very friendly. Atmosphere is very calm. Attraction is the marmot's family you may observe in front the hotel.

    The Berghotel is a slightly old-fashioned but delightful hotel with a great bar and dining room and friendly, helpful staff. The hotel itself is historic, originally dating from the time of the Austrian Empire. I chose the hotel for its location on the Stelvio Pass, and it's an excellent place to stay for anyone wishing to break their journey near the pass or to visit the Ortler Alps, and therefore attracts an eclectic mix of guests.
