A great location away from the crowds of the other towns on the lake but in walking distance of good restaurants and bars. Very easy parking. Delightfully run family hotel, good restaurant on site too. Best breakfast we had on a 2 week trip in the Dolomites and lakes. Recommend highly

Mauro was amazing, he treated amazing from Comunication to receiving us first minute. The attention from him and the staff was always above & beyond. The restaurant is a must, the food is spectacular and you should reserve in advance because I'm pretty sure in high season it is highly demanded. The rooms are superbly clean and are huge, view is amazing I really think this hotel should be ranked higher than what internet says, for me a five star all the way.

The property was spacious, clean, close to public transport and bars/restaurants. It had all the amenities you need, except a washing machine however there is a Laundromat nearby. The fridge was stocked with milk, juice, bottled water and dairy snacks. There was also biscuits, crackers and other snacks made available

The location is excellent! A 5 minute bus ride from the Lecco bus and train station. There’s a metro station just across the property but be warned it’s not in use anymore. The property is walking distance from a Lake Como area where you can spend the evening in beautiful ambience. We were on a 3 day trip to visit Lake Como towns like Como , Varenna , Bellagio etc.The location of Valmadrera is at one end of the lake. But, the rates of this property are very reasonable and cannot be matched in other lake Como towns.Besides , you can experience lake Como within walking distance ! Also, Lecco has connecting trains to every lake Como town. The family managing the property is super helpful, though only the young lady ( daughter ) can manage English. They even offered to drop us at Lecco train station at the end of our stay, which was touching.

The apartment is perfect for 4 people. There is one double bed and two single beds. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The living room has a large table to have a nice meal and just enjoy the view. The street was very quiet and the location was absolutely amazing. It was easy for us, because we had a car, without it, it's probably harder to reach it, and there is no sidewalk on that street, but it's okay because not a lot of cars use it. You can swim right next to the apartment, there are boats there as well. We had a parking spot in a closed area, which was very nice. Communication with a hostess was very nice, she really took good care of us. Overall loved everything.

A great place to stay at Como lake! Super clean, comfy, very warm (I stayed in January) and the personnel was really helpful, regularly checking in if all is good :). Coffee and sweets were really nice surprise. I truly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Mandello del Lario, and hope to be back there in the future! Thanks for making my stay so nice

    Definitely one of the BEST hotels I've ever stayed in. The location, the service, the room, the views, everything was absolutely incredible not to mention it's unbelievably affordable. I stayed in this room & the lake view from my balcony was just phenomenal. It's run by a lovely family, very welcoming people. My heart was truly filled with joy. Left with a big smile :)

    The room and the bathroom were very clean. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast are cute. The location is easy to reach by the train. Good connection to Lecco and other cities around the Como Lake. The nature around is stunning.

    We loved our stay here. The location of the hotel is spot on . Eating breakfast whilst watching the windsurfing was a perfect start to the day. Ample free parking which is such an added bonus. The rooms are spotless and we were made to feel so welcome by the hosts . I love the italian people and the hosts lived up to that expectation. They were welcoming, kind and encouraging as I tried to speak italian to them ( not well I may add ). Definitely want to go back to experience it all again... Grazie mille ....Arrivederci...

    Amazing, a real hidden gem run by the loveliest couple, Carlo & Cristina, who went above and beyond, its basic but very clean and very homely, felt like we were staying with family. Good breakfast choices with homemade cake every day!Lovely quiet location on the edge of the lake with stunning views,but it is easy to get about by road, car, bus, and lake ferry. We would highly recommend staying here,it was nice after a busy day out to come back to this tranquil little corner of the world.

    Absolutely great location on the shore of Lake Como this family run hotel is on a very quiet road without through traffic. No problems adjacent parking. Facilities a little basic but very clean and comfortable rooms with balconies offering great views. Owners and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.
