The owner is a superb host. Friendly and helpful. Keeps everything very orderly. The location is great at a walkable distance from downtown/nearest station. It is just across the road from a pleasant onsen which accepts day trippers. It means you can add a bit of luxury to your guest house stay. Bicycle rental and luggage storage is at the nearest station. They know Ulala and they were very flexible about extending the standard period to suit my plan.

The food is very good local japanese food for both breakfast and dinner. But if you are a picky eater or dont like fish its not ideal. Crazy view. Nice people working there. Cheap bike rental.
