We loved staying overnight on the island! The owner is very nice! He drove us around in his van from and to the port, and well as from and to the restaurant. We felt like at home!

The house was really nice and spacious. The location on the island was also really good, next to the naoshima port (5 min walking). With about 7 min walking distance of one of the bus stops we could also easily reach all of the museums. The owner also provided 4 bikes for us to use, and riding around the island is fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here with 2 or more people!

Gorgeous setting, right in front of the beach. As no one else was swimming , it felt like a private beach to us :-) very modern and clean, beautifully designed. Well equipped small kitchen and modern, comfortable bathroom with laundry machine. The soy sauce museum was our highlight ! :-)

I wish we had more time to spend in Naoshima and Juju Art House! It’s a real pleasure to explore the house. The owners managed to blend a super homey feel with Japan tradition and hip. In addition to that the location is super convenient and the owners very responsive and helpful. We loved it!

A beautiful and spacious house not far from the port to Naoshima. The host picked us up at the train station and took us back there at the end of our stay - exceptional service. The house was retro, perfectly presented and had two large bedrooms with both western and tatami beds. The hosts kindly set up a cot and put a child seat on an e-bike to accommodate the child in our group. Free bikes (3 e-bikes and regular pedal bikes) were available in the shed. Local udon and sushi restaurants were great. It’s a short cycle to the port to the art islands and we were able to take the bikes on the ferry to explore the islands. Recommend for a home-like stay. Thank you for your fantastic hospitality!
