Superb accommodation in beautifully designed new hotel/ryokan. I stayed in the mixed dormitory. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Very quiet at night even when full. Short walk from the train station and to the wharf for bike rental. Restaurants and supermarket two minutes walk away. Cho and Shane are marvellous hosts, and we are now good friends. Easy to make friends with fellow travellers in the shared dining area, and designer style lounge. I loved my 7 day stay at Lemonsea, and in Onomichi. I would have stayed longer.

I did an overnight stop during Shimanami Kaido and enjoyed my stay with Onzo. Amenities were provided (toothbrush, floss, hairbrush, shampoo,…) which is nice so you don’t have to carry on the bike. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. Very good value for money

    The location is beautiful, though marred slightly by the sights of cranes and construcion occupying half the lovely view outside the window. This is cheap, for such a lovely spot amongst all the best Onomichi sights. Easy to access, with friendly staff.
