The Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Yokohama is a very nice hotel. We ended up staying in the Superior Double, which was very nice and roomy. The hotel is conveniently located about a five minute walk from Yokohama station. The room was very clean and modern. This a classy hotel for a reasonable price so it is a very good value. The Yokohama station area is a bit tricky to navigate as there are multiple levels of walkway bridges, but once you figure it out, the hotel is easy to get to from the train station.

This is a perfect place to stay for the night before you board your cruise the next day. The hotel has an elevator connecting the underground walkway with its building so you can immediately go to the building from the subway. Hotel had a good view of the harbour. Very good location near train station about 5 minutes walk. Staff very helpful. Rooms though are quite small but these are common in Japan hotels especially in major cities. But overall this hotel is quite clean with very good service . It's also near shopping areas.

    Loved this hotel, and I would stay here again. Very clean, nice-sized room and helpful staff. Brilliant value for money in a great location. A few minutes walk to Kannai station which will get you everywhere you need to go. And if you don't mind walking around, it's around a 20-30 minute walk to Yokohama Chinatown and Minatomomiri Area respectively. My onward journey wasn't until late evening after checkout and they very kindly stored my luggage with no charge.

    Good cheap stay in a central Yokohama location. And, for men, access to sauna and hot bath (not available for women though!). It is as advertised: a bed for the night and little else, but for the price it is very clean, reasonably comfortable and with a good mix of facilities. Staff were courteous and helpful.
