The Tara Waterfall has a nice view to the tea fields and up to the Waterfall, really stunning in the middle of nowhere. If you want silence and avoid from too much hectic and tourism (like in Ella) this is the right spot! Their service was very kind, too :-)

We've accommodated in hotel sanctuary last week. It was very clean and attractive.The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well organized.The pool area was fantastic, to have fun.The hotel keeper was very friendly and helpful.The hotel owner was the same. The meals were really delicious.We could enjoy the scenic beauty of rakwana mountains right from the hotel.That accomodation package was very reasonable for the payed price.I recommend this place for people, who are expecting a perfect stay near Rakwana.

Our stay at the Rainforest Nest was amazing. The hosts are the kindest persons, and always smiling. Saman is a great guide, thanks to him we saw a lot of endemic animals! We definitely recommend going on a rainforest tour with him. His wife is an awesome cook. We loved their food and the couple was very accommodating. We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful rainforest getaway! Janith & his wife are really kind hosts, very helpful and passionate about the rainforest and the animals living there. Everything was really clean and we even got gluten free & vegan meal options. The food was delicious! We recommend choosing the local food options. Also the rainforest tour they organize is really special and recommendable! We loved it. Also the waterfall at the property is more than beautiful!
