The people are so lovely, friendly and helpful. The garden is really nice and peaceful and backs on to the beach. It was really nice to have the option of food too.

It was the whole villa with beautiful garden. As I had to work for couple of days there were no issues with WiFi. The family was really nice and friendly. Maybe a little too far from main street but the quiet place and friendliness of local people makes up for it. Also breakfast was delicious.

Our experience at this property was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for, as though we were guests in a home filled with warmth and charm. This place is unlike any other—a true oasis where you can completely immerse yourself in the vacation spirit. Every detail has been so thoughtfully designed and curated, creating an environment that is both stylish and comfortable. The house has a distinct and beautiful design that blends effortlessly with the natural surroundings, giving it a unique character that made our stay unforgettable. The pool is undoubtedly the cherry on top. After a day exploring the area or even just lounging around, it was the perfect place to unwind, cool off, and enjoy some quiet moments. You could easily spend the entire day here, relaxing and taking in the serene atmosphere. The location is also excellent—just a stone's throw away from Galle Fort and within a very short distance of the beach, offering the best of both worlds. Whether you’re looking to explore the historic sights, soak in the vibrant local culture, or simply relax by the sea, everything is conveniently close. Our stay exceeded all expectations. The level of care and attention from the staff was impeccable—they were well-trained, friendly, and attentive to our every need. It’s evident that they take pride in making every guest feel at home, and it truly elevated our experience. On top of all this, the accommodations themselves were outstanding. The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished, creating a space that was both elegant and inviting. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience that made us feel completely rejuvenated. This is by far the best accommodation we’ve had in all our travels across Asia. I recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Galle, you won’t regret it. And as for us, this has become a must-visit destination, and we’ll definitely be returning whenever we’re back in Galle.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience! Our stay at the Dormero Hotel in Sri Lanka was nothing short of amazing! The staff here is truly the best we have ever encountered – attentive, friendly, and always going above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience. The hotel itself is stunning, with a fantastic ambiance and exceptional hospitality. Without even asking, they graciously upgraded our room because there was availability – such a thoughtful gesture that made our trip even more special. Breakfast was an absolute highlight – delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. The top manager deserves special recognition for being incredibly kind, approachable, and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you, Dormero Hotel, for creating such unforgettable memories for us. Very neat, clean and comfortable accommodation. The host is a very friendly and knowledgeable person, he has spent years driving tourists around so has good knowledge of what to do and what not to do, while being completely honest and not pushing anything on to you - which is very unique here. The breakfast was incredibly generous, luckily we fast from 4pm each day so we could fit it in by the morning. There was a large variety of food he kept bringing us so it certainly won't leave you wanting! The location is close to Galle so it makes access to the Fort quick and easy - which we loved. It's also situated across from a beach which we found very nice for chilled sunsets - there were only about

The staff was smiling and friendly. This was the last day in Sri Lanka and they were the fastest in preparing and serving breakfast. Breakfast was plentiful and the coffee was great. Our room was big and clean. Everything was great.

We had an amazing time. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They brought us tea and biscuits every day. The room was big, with new furnitures, very clean and there was lots of hot water. We were worried about the noise of the train railway, but it was absolutely no problem and didn't bothered us at all.

After just two days of my stay, I decided to extend my stay for another a few days. In fact, I felt like at home, far from home. The hotel has incredibly tasteful interiors. The very high level of service at the boutique hotel makes you actually feel special. ;)) I would like to thank the staff! The team of young guys takes care of guests without any complaints. I would like to spend my vacations in such places as this hotel.
