This place was absolutely breathtaking—truly a dream! The house, designed by the host, was just as stunning. You can immediately tell they have incredible taste. Wow! The hosts were beyond kind and welcoming. They gave us a tour of their garden, and it was nothing short of magical. If you can name a fruit or vegetable, they grow it! Breakfast was a feast—fresh, flavorful, and straight from the garden. Every bite was pure joy! All in all, this stay was unforgettable. Before we left, we each planted a durian tree, and we can’t wait to come back in a few years to see it grow. If you're looking for a special place to stay, this is it!

I loved the place mostly. It was neat and clean. The rooms were spacious enough. Also, the washroom. There was a kitchen space with all the cutlery sets, a fridge, and a hot water kettle. So, anybody can have a dine-in using those things. Also, there is a spacious balcony with a great city view. We enjoyed sitting there. we had free breakfast. And, the humble owner lady provided us with fresh fruits and English breakfast. that we loved most.

Everyone was so friendly and kind, happy to help and support you during and after your stay. The room was really nice, cosy and a great view! We 100% would come back and visit again!

Though The Grove is a tad removed from the city's chaos, that's precisely its charm. Review for Cabin 7000 Feet, Nuwara Eliya My stay at Cabin 7000 Feet in Nuwara Eliya was truly memorable! Located in Shanthipura, the highest village in Nuwara Eliya, it offers an incredible view of the hills and valleys—a perfect spot to chill and take stunning photos. The rooms were super cozy, making it easy to relax and feel right at home. The washrooms were very clean, and the separate kitchen area was a thoughtful touch, giving us the option to cook if needed. The food was absolutely delicious! We especially loved the beef deviled, grilled chicken fried rice, and the authentic Sri Lankan breakfast. Each meal was prepared with great care and full of flavor. A special shoutout to Mr. Roshan, who was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. His hospitality really made the experience feel personal and welcoming. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing views, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere, I highly recommend Cabin 7000 Feet. It’s a place I’d love to visit again!

Probably the nicest place I've stayed so far in Sri Lanka, on a one month trip. The building is incredibly spacious. My room was so big and so well designed that I felt like I was staying in a very tasteful hotel. I had a lovely balcony with an excellent view. Shower was perfect. The host and his partner have the perfect combination of being really friendly but also laid back. If I ever come back to Kandy I will definitely be staying here again. Also all the people in the surrounding neighborhood were very friendly.

Amazing new, modern and clean cabana with panoramic Mountain View. Walking distance to town. Friendly and helpful staff and 5 star food! Highly recommend!!
