Fantastic stay after our visit to the National Park We stayed here for one night after visiting the National Park, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this place. We were traveling with two children and had a wonderful stay. In the evening, we had a long and pleasant conversation with the owner outside, after which he surprised us with a delicious à la carte dinner. The next morning, a generous breakfast was waiting for us — beautifully prepared down to the smallest detail. The interior also deserves a special mention: tastefully decorated, full of atmosphere, and with great attention to detail. Not your typical, plain hotel room, but a warm and charming space with beautiful furniture. Everything was also spotlessly clean. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay in this region. The owner sometimes also offers guided tours through the National Park — definitely worth asking about! In short: highly recommended!

Exception place, I loved everything, nearest town is 12km away so some may find it quiet but for me it was perfect. The staff were great, and the chef was able to cater for 2 dietary requirements. Food portions are huge and room large and comfortable. Swimming pool warm and clean, just wear t-shirt or wet suit top if a lady to be respectful. It was an amazing experience

This was fantastic! At Web of Life, we had the most wonderful time! The resort is situated in an incredible spot, surrounded by nature, with a stunning view of a lake, and close to a hill offering a 360-degree view of the Wasgamuwa National Park and the Knuckles Mountain area. We stayed there for three nights and saw more wildlife than ever before: a huge variety of birds right outside our room, wild elephants just 10 minutes away, as well as peacocks, wild hens, and squirrels roaming through the resort. What we especially appreciated was the staff’s extensive knowledge of nature and their enthusiasm for protecting wildlife. Everyone was so warm-hearted and generous, and the food was absolutely delicious! We would love to visit again, perhaps for a longer trip next time!

This place is a real retreat in the nature. The accommodation is located in authentic rural surroundings and from the host Supun and his family we learned a lot about local life. The visit to local buddhist temple was unforgettable experience. The safari was wonderful, we saw about 60 elephants and both Supun and the driver have a good eye for all kinds of animals and birds. Other nature trips and activities are also possible. Supun's mum is a great cook, all meals were lovely. Thank you! We would love to come back.

I felt home. It’s really value for money - especially for the family who runs it. Shanta and his wife did their best to make me feel welcome and taken care of - they are so kind and friendly. I also had dinner here and it was homemade and delicious. The room is simple but you have the basic conditions you need. The location is also good - even though it’s a bit far from the ruins, the way to it is by the lake, which makes up for it! Thank you very much!

We stayed at Binara for two nights and really enjoyed our time. You stay in the house of the lovely couple who have two adorable little children. Breakfast and dinner are lovingly prepared. The excavation site of Polonnaruwa is easy to reach by bike. On Binara's recommendation, we went on a boat trip with fishermen, a couple, who even had a small picnic with them. A very special experience. He also arranged pick-ups for us with a reliable driver. We really enjoyed our days at Binara and can highly recommend this family-run accommodation.
