We reserved at andromeda desert Astro camp , we did not know exactely what to expect . But once arrived everything was higher than our expectations , nice luxury rented , good local food , nice stuff very well educated , the owner Hamid who is astronomer took us on a life time trip to explore the Saharan sky , constellations , Milky Way , galaxy’s ,,, it was really a unique experience if you are passionate about the desert sky and astronomy Hope to come back more times. Spending a weekend at this camp was one of the best decisions of our trip. The place is simply magical, surrounded by dunes that change color with the sunlight. Our tent was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after our activities. During the day, we went on a camel ride and a quad bike ride that allowed us to explore further from the camp. At sunset, the view was breathtaking, and at night, we enjoyed traditional music under the stars. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff was always attentive, smiling, and very friendly. We truly felt cared for at all times

Royal Sahara Dome Camp is pure magic—a perfect 10/10 Tucked in the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes, it’s a mix of cozy luxury and wild desert beauty. The domes are gorgeous, with comfy beds, colorful rugs, and a clear wall showing off the dunes at sunrise. The private bathroom with a hot shower was a dream, and the terrace was perfect for stargazing with mint tea. The staff Mohamed and crew made it unforgettable—super friendly, always smiling, and ready to help. They guided an amazing camel ride at sunset and served delicious food and fresh dates by a campfire. The live music and stories under the stars felt so special. The desert’s quiet beauty and the camp’s charm made me feel totally at peace. I can’t wait to go back—this place is incredible!

I had an absolutely magical experience at Sahara Dome Camp! The unique dome accommodations offered breathtaking views of the surrounding desert, and the hospitality was top-notch. The staff made us feel right at home, and the stargazing at night was simply unforgettable. I highly recommend this camp for anyone looking to connect with nature in a cozy and comfortable way

We had an excellent stay here between Erfoud and Merzouga, very relaxing, calm and beautiful place hosted by a lovely family which provided us with the best and most generous food! Beautifully decorated, artisan rooms. You can walk through the desert and explore fossil and mineral mining on your own. To recommend!

We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The camp was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The staff were always friendly and quick to assist with anything we needed. The activities were varied and well-organized something for everyone. We felt refreshed and happy by the end of our trip. The manager Mohamed helpful us and easy to book any activities you want in the desert! Thank you a lot:)

That was the best night of our stay in Morocco! The place is absolutely amazing, we loved it. Hasan is amazing as well. At first, we thought that the camp was a scam, because everything looked perfect and there was not a single bad review. Now we know! The dinner was very delicious, the breakfast too, the night show was magnificent and very entertaining, the people surrounding Hasan are very kind and friendly. The rooms are… I just cannot explain - they are definitely a must-see. The bathroom was better than those in the big sities in the riads where we slept the previous nights. I extremely recommend this place. You will not regret it! Also, it is a must to book a ride with the camels instead of the 4x4. (Additional cost - 20€ per person) You greet the sunset with enough time for taking pictures.

Everything except the food (see disclaimer). As long as you're not expecting Michelin star dining, i think you'd be extremely satisfied with everything else that Soleil has to offer. We were attended to by Ayoub and he was a great host. Responsive, helpful, informative, with a good command of English. He gave clear instructions for us to park our rental car at Hotel Cafe du Sud (free and safe parking), picked us and our luggage up in his 4x4, and dropped us at the start point of our camel ride (sunset camel ride to the campsite @ 15 euros/pax). Camel ride itself was quite an experience and i would recommend it if you've never been on one before (also the camels didn't smell bad since it was winter/cold). Towards the end of the camel ride the nomad camel guide will sit you down and peddle his wares to earn some additional income.. we just saw it as an appropriate opportunity to offer him some money as tips for his good service. No issues =) Soleil camp is a 2-month old (at point of writing this review, Feb 2023) campsite. It is considered a more 'private' campsite as it only houses 4 accommodation tents for guests, so i would recommend this if you're not a fan of big rowdy tourist crowds. However, as with most of the other desert camps, you're still within sight (and earshot) of neighbouring camps/companies, so you can forget about being 'alone in the desert'. Location of this campsite is a distance away from the big Erg Chebbi dunes.. so if your intention is to climb the dune.. you might want to choose an alternate site or arrange a quadbike ride. Because it's new, the interior of the accommodation tents are clean and in tiptop condition. Very spacious and more than enough for a traveling couple. No room heating or air conditioning (the place runs mainly on solar power with a gas generator as backup), but you do get hot water (heated by fire wood) and a steady supply of water.

It was amazing experince. Staff was lovely and food was delicious.
