Beautiful riad, we stayed in the budget room which was absolutely perfect- did not feel “budget” in any way, just great value for money. The riad is in a central location, easy to walk to anywhere. Really lovely staff, always on hand to help.

Riad Babette is a stunning, family-run gem in the heart of Essaouira’s medina. Said, the owner, is incredibly kind and welcoming, helping us with anything we needed. The riad has been recently renovated with impeccable taste and offers all the modern comforts you could ask for. The rooftop terrace boasts a breathtaking view, but another real highlight is the breakfast. The lady who prepares it is truly a chef – we had the best msemen and omelette of our entire trip through Morocco. What more can I say? I wish this hardworking family all the success they deserve, as their talent is undeniable! It’s a shame we only stayed one night, but in shā' Allah we’ll be back soon!
