We chose this accommodation in the desert based on the excellent reviews and ratings, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect! Our hosts picked us up, showed us around, and made us feel at home. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding, with so much delicious food. We had a great time sitting under the open sky. The bed was very comfortable for the night. I highly recommend this place—it’s top-notch and truly amazing! Big thanks to Ikhlef and Hassan.

Wonderful camping site, tents had shower and toilet, very clean, nice dinner and breakfast, amazing bonfire and local music. The staff was very well organised, we took a Jeep ride to the camp and traveled back on camels, both were truly amazing, allows you to enjoy unique nature, very beautiful, highly recommended.

Our stay in La Maison-Berbère was just magical. The host is beyond helpful and happy to assist you with all your needs. Meals are hefty, homemade and simply delicious. One can choose to sleep either in the room or under the stars on the mattresses taken out upon request. There's ice cold water and fresh fruit available at all times. We also learnt a new card game and could play with the host's kitties. We can strongly recommend the Sahara trip, which in 2025 cost 100 euro per person. The driver, with whom the owner cooperates, is so skilled he should compete in the Dakar rally. During the trip we were taken deep into the Sahara desert, where we spent the night smoking hookah, eating tajine and drinking Moroccan tea. Our stay exceeded our expectations and left a lasting impression.

We spend here amazingly great weekend, surrounded by tranquility, hospitality and joy of simple life. It was great experience to feel how bérbere nomads live their everyday in Sahara desert. We enjoyed walking among the quiet dunes, admiring the stoning sunsets, tasting vegies from desert garden and music evenings in circle of warm fire. The host Aziz was a wonderful host. He took me to the Oasis and Chigaga Erg. He also arranged for my return taxi which was extremely helpfu.l He made my desert adventure a very memorable one. Chef Barack is a very kind person who makes delicious vegan food. I highly recommend this property.

It was a good place to stay in Mhamid even for a few nights. The room was pretty spacious and had a shower, and a toilet. On one night it didn't have a strong water pressure but I figured it was because of the water in the desert - there is not much of it. The sheets and pillows were clean. I had ordered breakfast and had forgotten to mention that I didn't eat dairy. The owner prepared some eggs for me, it was lovely. The stars at night were amazing since the Rad is located a bit far from the town's light pollution.

This camp was fantastic-our tent was spacious with a clean bed, bathroom, and running hot water. Dinner was delicious, and the evening around the campfire, with music under the stars, was unforgettable. The next morning, after a panoramic sunrise camel ride, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast. If you're visiting, I highly recommend going by jeep to thé wild Dune.Thank you Abdoul, and everyone at the camp, for an amazing stay!

A heartfelt thank you to Daoud and his wife for the truly memorable stay! This place feels like home, with a cozy family atmosphere. It's simple in the best way, nothing overly fancy, but it has everything you need. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Mhamid. From the camp, it's just a short walk to some beautiful nearby dunes, which made for such a fun and unique experience! And the food, wow. Without a doubt, the best we've had in Morocco! Every meal was a surprise, with creative, flavorful, and varied dishes that we couldn’t get enough of. Daoud also organizes treks into the Sahara, and if you’re looking for an authentic adventure paired with interesting conversations, this is the place to be. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco, and we can’t recommend it enough. Wishing you all the best for the future, and we hope to see you again someday! (And please give a big hug to Orange and Billy from us!)
