Staying on this local island was an incredible experience that we will cherish forever. Unlike the more touristy islands, Kihadhoo had a more authentic and serene vibe, and the locals were genuinely kind and welcoming. Our host was exceptional in every way. Not only was he the director of the local school, but he also managed the accommodation as a side project with utmost care and dedication. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. For meals, our host arranged dining at a newly opened local café. While the café still has room for improvement in terms of price-to-quality ratio, I’m confident it will grow into a fantastic spot over time. What truly sets this island apart is its breathtaking coral reef and vibrant marine life. Our host also organized unforgettable snorkeling and diving trips with a dive center on a neighboring island. These excursions were simply magical (especially in Hanifaru bay)! However, having a dive center directly on the island (which is planned soon) will make exploring the underwater world even more convenient. This island offers an authentic, peaceful getaway with stunning natural beauty and warm hospitality. We would love to return someday and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique Maldivian experience.

Having traveled extensively across the Maldives, I can confidently say that Bageecha Stay is the best guesthouse I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it felt like home, thanks to the incredible hospitality and warm atmosphere created by the host, Ismael, and his exceptional team. Ismael went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect. His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the island, and genuine care for his guests made my stay unforgettable. Whether organizing activities or sharing insights about local life, his passion for hospitality truly shone through. Every meal was a masterpiece, combining fresh local ingredients with remarkable skill and creativity. From mouthwatering Maldivian delicacies to innovative international dishes, each bite was a treat. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve had in the Maldives, and I looked forward to every meal during my stay. The guesthouse itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect balance of modern amenities and local charm. Everything is SUPER, was a short stay. Loved everything, this guest house is operated together with LVIS beach property. I paid less since stay was at LVIS Village as this is a lower priced property having it located in the Village instead of being on the beach, but is just 30 seconds walk to bikini beach and beach front LVIS property where beach front restaurant, garden and sun loungers for all guests are located. Garden and Beach is excellent, I spent all the time on the beach and garden and used room just to sleep 😁 Food is exceptional, excursions are great. Best or all is warm hospitality, how genuine staff is, feel like home. This is a place to return

The rooms are new, just opened 02-2025. Staff was very nice, helpful, friendly, always smiling. The breakfast is 1 minut walk just round the corner. It was tasty and enough for adults. Bikini beach is ca 40 meters from hotel it was clean. Corals very nice with a lot of life and fisches. The owner Mohammed organised the transport from Male airport as domestic flight for reasonable price and then picked us up with speedboat at the domestic airport. By leaving the island he went with us to harbour to found a local ferry to another island. Everythink was perfect.
