Lovely, beautifully decorated property in a great location close to many restaurants and the beach, although not directly on the beach. Small pool in the center right next to small breakfast bar. The staff was wonderful and the included breakfast each day was amazing. Lovely outdoor beds on two upper decks.

We had an amazing stay at Casa del Sol in Hollbox. The room is huge, it has a very equipped kitchen to cook and the bathroom is big and great. The pool is also quite comfortable. In terms of location, it is about 20 minutes on foot from the center (you can go by taxi for about 6$) but 1 minute from the beach. Loved our stay here and definitely recommend it.

Visited only for a few days, but it was the coolest place ever. The location was amazing, amenities were absolutely superb. Check in was super smooth. They gave us a free beach bag, you could use sunscreen and WATER machine which was a rarity in different Mexican hotels. It’s probably the nicest looking building in the whole Holbox beach area. Every single aspect of the stay was so well thought of I’m not surprised if this place picks up and becomes Booking.com yearly favorite.

We were lucky enough to stay for 6 nights at Tierra del Mar and we had such a wonderful time. The bed was the comfiest of all our stays! It was so luxurious! Everything was clean, functioned well and the property is decorated very tastefully. The staff were amazing, so helpful and informative, giving us great recommendations for dining on the island. The kindness and friendliness of the property manager, owner and staff, was exceptional. This is one of the most important aspects of anywhere that I stay. I was immediately welcomed and looked after, including lots of messages prior to my arrival regarding transport so that my journey to the island and hotel was as smooth as possible, including help with arranging a shuttle, where to wait at the airport and help with details about the ferry etc. I am very grateful. The room itself was beautiful and the area was very quiet, so I always slept well. The fridge in the room is a little loud so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. I hope I get the chance to go back to Holbox and to stay at Villa Los Mangles again :)
