My stay was fabulous, all the staff members were super friendly but special thanks to Jebat and Mat, both of them taught me many things about the culture and the language. We had a great time around the campfire thanks to them, it really felt like talking to friends. The place itself is beautiful, the food is delicious and the rooms are super nice, very comfortable and clean. I’m sad to leave but if I ever come back that’s the place I’ll stay. Plus I stayed during the low period so the camp was almost empty which made the stay even better.

Ismail is great and very welcoming host, always trying to help with a smile and organizing whatever he can so that staying in Taman Negara is as pleasant as it can be. The location is great, couple of minutes walk from the bus station, right in front of river crossing with a nice restaurant just a couple of steps below the rooms. Regardless, the location is peaceful and quiet. Rooms are basic, but very clean and everything works (warm water, AC etc.). Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nazri - the Manager - really cares about the guests and about the Camp. Our children live the Camp, Swimming in the River, going in hikes and on the River boat Trip to swim in the Cascades. Great Food! Beautiful Spot in nature, eco travelling! Our daughther Head a Great Birthday there and Nazri Even Organizer a cake for her. Thanks do much!!

Simple but very clean rooms. The Host was very kind . She helped and book the tours at taman negara as well as the transport to our next destination. Although the guesthouse is like 1.3 km away from Kuala Tahan, the owner always drove and picked us up when needed - unproblematic and as good as an accomodation at the center of Kuala Tahan

Durian Chalet felt like home. The staff were very kind and helpful, the rooms were clean, big, beautifully placed in the big property. I loved that my chalet was in front of a large patch of pandan, and it smelt wonderful. The chalet is located away from the main town square and that made it much quieter-something that I really wanted. Overall, I will definitely be coming back and staying here.

All features of the room seem quite new: floor, beds, shower & sink fixtures, etc. Everything very clean with no smells. There is instant hot water if you turn on the water heater, and the shower is in brand new shape. The staff offer a laundry service. The neighborhood is quiet, hotel is at the end of a street. Food options are easily within walking distance, and the river crossing is a 5 min walk down the slope. Best of all, you have the chance to see interesting birds from the terrace!

We arrived in Kuala Tahan when the floods started rising. Our host informed us about the situation beforehand, but we decided to go there anyways. We stayed 2 nights, and he was always helping and informing us about the flood situation which was very helpful for us. Unfortunately we did not see much of the inner jungle of Taman Negara. But if the floods wouldn't had been at this time we would have had a great time at Hana Guesthouse!
