Chital Lodge is perfectly located next to Chitwan National Park, where we were able to walk in to the park for our walking safari during our stay. The yard and dining area is cozy where we spent some of our evenings eating delicious Momos from the kitchen. Our most valuable memory from Chital lodge is the walking safari hosted by stay owner Bishnu, who is knowledgeable walking in Chitwan since a kid, where he took us in to the national park on foot teaching us a lot about the nature, the area and the animals. It was truely a once in a lifetime experience! Learning about Chitwan and Nepal walking through the beautiful terrain and seeing the animals that day! Rooms are bare and for us wanting the experience by the nature was really value for money. Could not recommend enough!! Thank you to Bishnu and your family!

I had an amazing stay here. I felt immediately at home. It’s such a nice place to relax, be in nature and spend time with amazing people. Hari is an AMAZING host, he is very kind and makes you feel so welcome in Chitwan. ☀️ I did the full day safari and we saw lots of animals up close, including 2 bears!! Hari knows the jungle so well so we had lunch at an amazing view point. As well as a the safari, I loved the yoga class, jungle walks and beautiful sunsets. 🌅 I extended my stay and was very sad to leave. So I would recommend this homestay to anyone interested in a relaxing jungle visit! Thank you Hari!

Such a beautiful home with the perfect balance of home like but still good facilities like a hotel. You get brought into the family and end up staying much longer than you originally thought you would , highly highly recommend and I will be returning in the future without a doubt. Good value for money and very cool walking safari, but honestly I could’ve just stayed at the house for a week. Great time

Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! Very nice place to relax and see the jungle. Staff were great and the food was exellent. We had Thali every night. Huge choice for breakfast. You can do jungle tours and go down the river. We saw lots of rinos crocodiles, and various birds. You can sometime see the crocidiles from the resort. In the evenings they had local dance performances and the pool was nice. Well recommend if you are looking for a few relaxing days.
