Clean, tidy, warm and well setup. Beds were comfortable. Nice things like tea and coffee supplied. Close town, great place to stay before or after the Paparoa track. Stored the bikes in a huge garage. Walk to the pub in 3 minutes.

The whole of the accommodation was perfect. All the facilities were clean, built well and beautiful. (Mostly built by the owner btw!). The clean and well equipped kitchen with mega BBQ was our favorite part. Besides that, the garden was designed beautifully with many plants and flowers. The beds were amazing as well. (Better than my own bed at home). And the outdoor living was so fun compared to our daily life in a big city. We honestly have zero complaints. Best place we have stayed in New Zealand!

Al was amazingly kind and helpful. Their home is lovely, the room was super comfy and spotlessly clean. We were received with homemade biscuits, tea, and coffee. In the morning, the homemade breakfast pleasantly surprised us and was the perfect complement to continue our travels. We decided to stop in Greymouth just to rest overnight during our trip, and choosing Al and Rosie's place for this purpose was an excellent decision. Without a doubt, we would recommend them and stay again anytime we are in Greymouth.

What an absolute little gem of a place this is. We loved our stay! Of the beaten track, yet pretty close to Greymouth. The food was out of this world! The menu coversall bases and fantastic value for money. We ended up getting three courses each and ended up absolutely stuffed! The hotel is charming, with a lot of character and an amazing back story and history. The staff is so friendly and helpful! They even provided hot water bottles to take to bed on a cold winter's night! We will definitely be back!!
