We had an amazing stay in Ocean Vida! 🙂 The hotel is in a great location, the staff was really kind. The food in a restaurant was very tasty. The room was cleaned everyday, additionaly everything evening we received a personal sentence for a good sleep. It was so kind! Thank you very much and keep doing the great work! The resort(s) we amazing. Ocean Vida and Buena Vida are owned by the same hotelier. If you stay at Buena Vida (which we did) you get to use the private beach and bar at Ocean Vida and breakfast is also served at Ocean Vida. The view from the restaurant is gorgeous as is the bar and private beach with it's eating areas and lounges. We added an extra day to our stay because we loved the place so much. Buena Vida is a two minute walk down a little laneway. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main beach part of the island which we preferred. The decor of the resort and rooms are gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated. The staff give very personalized service, even down to the cute little personal notes before bed with some complimentary sweets. We felt very special because of the treatment of the staff at both resorts. Elmie at the bar at Ocean Vida is a superstar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she was just lovely. The scuba diving that Sea Explorers (the onsite dive shop) provide is outstanding. The shop is organised, well run, our guide Rex was so amazing and we really appreciated having our own guide for the time we were there. The diveshop is a well oiled machine, good, well maintained equipment and boats and the corals and sharks in the area were wonderful. No bleached coral and so many colours and textures. We would 100% come here and dive here again and have plans to go again in the near future.

What a beautiful resort. I travelled here with my Filipina wife and we loved every minute. We rented a beachfront villa with orivate pool - so lovely. The room was huge and just such a lovely place to sleep in. The restaurant and staff were excellent.

Good guy running the shop. I arrived late after a long bus ride from Cebu and he was kind enough to drive me to the only shop still open for food and also to the ferry wharf the next day. Great little place to spend the night

This place just opened, thats why there are only a few reviews. The hosts were so lovely and kind. The rooms were superclean and large enough for our stuff. We only stayed one night and the next day the host drove us to the ferry. (He even offered to drive us to a restaurant the night before but we decided to walk).

Hut is spacious. I think it can fit up to 8 persons. CR is spacious too. Property handler is very corteous and kind. They waited for us until we arrived at 10PM and even showed us stores on where to find food. They are responsive on our inquiries too.

S and T Tourist Inn is located in Bulalaqui. All rooms are fitted with a balcony. At the motel, all rooms are equipped with a desk and a flat-screen TV.

We had two stay two nights due to bad weather and we are so happy we did. Bridget the host it's an absolute star, super friendly and engaging, a Maya local that will go above and beyond to help the guests, for instance she took us to the breakfast place, it's only a 10 min walk but she insisted that we didn't need to walk if she was available to bring us there unless we decided to do so to get the local experience, locals by the way are so... so friendly towards tourists in general at Maya. The ATM didn't work, she took us to the next barangai to the one that did no charge! Really she even made us coffe in the morning, couldn't be any happier with her we feel so lucky we found her along our journey. The location it's great next to the market, bakery with fresh out the oven donuts and bread, sari sari shops and the port to go into Malapascua. The shower worked great with good water pressure and warm water! The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, toiletries provided, the AC worked like a clock, the balcony was better then tv watching all the locals go about theyr day. The price was amazing for the quality that you actually get but lacks in other places more expensive over in the phillipines. We will certainly be back when traveling that route again. Thanks Bridget for making it so comfortable, pleasant and stress free to stay and travel trough Maya.

The weather was too bad that the ferry's weren't running, we booked this 10 mins before turning up as the location is close to the ferry port. The rooms were great, spacious, clean, with lots of amenities. Staff was helpful and friendly.
