We had an amazing stay in Ocean Vida! 🙂 The hotel is in a great location, the staff was really kind. The food in a restaurant was very tasty. The room was cleaned everyday, additionaly everything evening we received a personal sentence for a good sleep. It was so kind! Thank you very much and keep doing the great work! I couldn’t rate this hostel more highly - it was the best accommodation I’ve stayed in for the whole 4 weeks in the Phillipines. It was clean, modern, and I felt very comfortable. The staff were so attentive and helpful, really making me feel at home and welcomed as a solo traveller. They prepared me a lunch for one of the boat day trips in a Capsule branded lunch box. The small things that really make you feel at home! The location is also perfect - you’re walking distance from everything you need in the south part of the island. There was never an issue with hot water and the Wifi was really reliable with great connectivity. The hostel is very new meaning every functions perfectly, unlike some of the other accommodation on the island which seems more basic and order. 10/10 recommend !!!

The resort(s) we amazing. Ocean Vida and Buena Vida are owned by the same hotelier. If you stay at Buena Vida (which we did) you get to use the private beach and bar at Ocean Vida and breakfast is also served at Ocean Vida. The view from the restaurant is gorgeous as is the bar and private beach with it's eating areas and lounges. We added an extra day to our stay because we loved the place so much. Buena Vida is a two minute walk down a little laneway. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main beach part of the island which we preferred. The decor of the resort and rooms are gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated. The staff give very personalized service, even down to the cute little personal notes before bed with some complimentary sweets. We felt very special because of the treatment of the staff at both resorts. Elmie at the bar at Ocean Vida is a superstar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she was just lovely. The scuba diving that Sea Explorers (the onsite dive shop) provide is outstanding. The shop is organised, well run, our guide Rex was so amazing and we really appreciated having our own guide for the time we were there. The diveshop is a well oiled machine, good, well maintained equipment and boats and the corals and sharks in the area were wonderful. No bleached coral and so many colours and textures. We would 100% come here and dive here again and have plans to go again in the near future.

This place is not about having a bed to sleep, is about the little community that they created there, a space to share, enjoy and take it easy and slowly. It’s a tiny magical place with cute huts that offers everything you need for a slow island life. Loved every moment there!

Super nice and helpful owner, simple yet very clean and spacious rooms, good location right next to the „market place“ and 5 minute walk from the beach with all the dive-centers. And, best value for money so far on our trip in the Philippines. We would definitely stay again and Mandurah‘s Inn!

Incredible friendly and helpful owners, the hut was right on the water and so pretty. There's cookies and instant noodles available for a really good price in the property. Very practical location as well to take the boat to Malapascua, all in all would highly recommend!
