We were so lucky to stay a few days at this lovely place. The accommodation, the view from the room, the green area outside, the delicious meals (breakfast and dinner) were all fantastic. Great 'Thank you!' to Celia, our host, who was very welcoming from the first moment we met. Private transport to / from the airport or Sao Tome town was organised by te host but we also used the local public transport (short walk to the main road).

The property was a perfect fit for our family of 7! The rooms were spacious the lounging and dining area was superb. The direct view into the ocean made sunrises and sunsets truly special. The host was always available to assist and having someone cook breakfast was an absolute privilege - thanks Florinda! (Having a car rental is a must.)

We loved absolutely everything there. It is on a perfect spot, in a lovely village close to an amazing surf spot. Spacious and very well equipped. From the first day we felt home. Roça Saudade is in the Almada Negreiros Museum also... So it's the perfect place to stay in the center of the island. Joaquim (from roça) and Emanuel (from the restaurant) are amazing hosts. Would love to return.

This was a great place to start our holiday in Sao Tome. We wanted somewhere close to the airport and outside the city. Casa Luis delivered and also has a beautiful quiet garden to chill out, a pool to cool down in and clean rooms with air conditioning which makes it easier to get used to the heat in the night. The owner was really helpful, he arranged for someone to come and exchange our euros to the local dobras - and he even took care of our extra stuff when we went for a trip to Principe (only 16 kgs luggage allowed on the plane). He offered to have someone escort us to the restaurant the first day, but after understanding that the area was safe we politely declined and found our way using google maps. Thank you and we would visit again.
