Ahmet is the kindest and most attentive host of any place I have ever stayed. He has created a haven of peace and tranquility at Potamia Cave, managing most successfully to combine authentic character decor with modern conveniences, such as a brilliant hot shower, loads of power points, high speed Internet and the comfiest bed I’ve slept in for ages. A fabulous breakfast too. Plus, the views are sublime! This is one of those rare travelling experiences when the real thing is better than the photos. If you are looking for a home base in Cappadocia don’t look any further. Ahmet will take the very best care of you at the totally perfect Potamia Cave Hotel.

We had an amazing stay at Black Stove Hotel Cappadocia! The hotel is beautifully designed, combining modern comforts with traditional charm. Our room was spacious, clean, and offered stunning views of the unique cave type landscape. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially the Manager Mert helpful, making us feel right at home. Maybe my favourite accommodation I've ever stayed in! Perfect view, incredible breakfast at flexible times, and the town is beautiful, but not as busy as Göreme so it's a lot calmer and nicer. And that's before the accommodation is attached to a medieval cave church. Rooms are really comfortable, and split between two it was actually cheaper than the youth hostel I stayed in on my own afterwards. Aydin is just the best, so helpful, a shoutout to Osman the cat too 🙏

From the moment we walked in it was if we were staying in the sultans cave palace. The most beautifull, authentic and luxurious hotel we stayed in ever. Everything you want abd need in a beautifull cave room including bubble bath and a great view of the valley. For western standards it was a very good price!

We used this Alba Cave as a base for visiting Cappadocia area. Our room was very big, clean and offered us a very nice view. The owner is a very nice and kind person. Offered us useful information about the area. Breakfast was good and they did their best to to fulfill our wishes.

    Very clean rooms, with enough space, friendly and helpful personnel. Location is in the center and close to super market, restaurants and shops but yet it is very quiet. The hotel is cozy and lovely but the owners are the best asset of this hotel. Owners are an amazing couple :) I have no words to describe their hospitality. They also helped us book for ballons. We really hope to see you again soon, you guys!

    Great location. Good breakfast and comfortable room. The staff were great and the hotel was close to everything. Would recommend staying in this area over Goreme as it is quieter and cheaper. Great value for money.

    Beautiful hotel, great location! The host was amazing and super helpful, our hot air balloon company cancelled on us the day we arrived so we tried to find an alternative company desperately and the host was super helpful and managed to get us a good deal locally and we had the most amazing time! Bonus great breakfast all the staff were super helpful! We miss it already!
