Super close to the Tamsui market. Good base for Beito district if you want to avoid the pricey hotels, was using the metro alot which requires lots of walking but don't mind doing so.

Very new (only 3 months old!) so everything was in good shape. Free coffee and tea, and a small basket of snacks/instant noodles you’re welcome to take from. The owner is kind and even brought us breakfast an hour before we were set to leave, etc.

Perfect location, about 10 mins walk to Ximen MRT Station and maybe 15 mins to Taipei Main Station (Where you can get the Taoyuan Airport MRT). The hotel main entrance in at the right side of the building, this is only a lobby, you take the lift up to the 6th floor for Reception. I booked for a high floor and got the 28th floor with a great view at the river side. The room was very good, modern, separate toilet and reasonable sized. They supplied pajamas and slippers in the room and all the essential toiletries can be got on the 6th floor in reception in a well layout display cabinet. There is a laundry room also on the 6th floor where you can do your own washing and drying (X3 washing machines and X3 dryers) they take coins only. The breakfast was fabulous with both continental and Taiwan cuisine. They supply free bottles of water and Tea/Coffee at the end of reception up till 10pm. There was also a kittle in the room with a safe. Ximen is a great area for eating, drinks and shopping, very lively at night time.

A really nice place all around: a friendly welcome, very pleasant rooms and a complete breakfast in a good location. The excellent Cynthia and Ivy kindly went over and beyond helping me with train reservations. They're stars.

This is one of those rare hotels where the pictures online correspond 1 to 1 with reality. Someone has put so much thought into it, everything was very consistent and worked perfectly. It was probably the best hotel room I've ever stayed in.

Clean, beautifully designed rooms very close to the main station (important if you want a convenient connection to the airport - from the main station you can hop on the purple express train and in some 35 mins you are at the airport). We appreciated that the staff let us store our luggage at the reception before we could check in. The self check out is also very convenient. Bottled water available daily was fantastic! It is 2 minutes from the Ning Xia Night Market, where you have a great selection of food, some of the stands there even made it to the Michelin guide book. Staff was very nice and helpful, swift communication from the moment we reserved our stay. You can maybe find cheaper options in Taipei, but the spacious beautiful room with a fantastic view (and large windows, which is also not that common - a lot of accommodation in Taipei is windowless), a washing machine (yup! Even that! Detergent provided too) and a super sized comfy bed is an absolute no brainer in my opinion, and a great value for money. If we visit Taipei again, we'll be for sure staying here...
