had the pleasure of being assisted by Vanessa during my stay at Kissel Hotel and she made my experience exceptional. I had to move in and out a few times, and she was incredibly flexible, going above and beyond to arrange everything for mr and accommodate my needs, and I really appreciated her efforts. Vanessa was not only professional but also personable and funny, making me feel welcome and valued. It’s clear she truly knows how to treat customers. Thanks to her, my stay was so much smoother and enjoyable. I’ll definitely stay here again should I come to Oakland , and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves for her outstanding service.

Booked this for visiting relatives, very quiet unit, super convenient to the freeway, and they said the bed was very comfortable and the place was really nice. They also liked that it was so close to El Cerrito hill park. Would book again.

    Very clean room, even if the hotel building is not that modern, you can quickly tell that its management cares about guests and maintains everything very well. The location is great, easy parking on property. It's a busy area, but the motel feels safe, with video surveillance system clearly visible. The price is very competitive. We'll definitely stay there again.

    The staff was wonderful and the room was kept very clean. They were so responsive to all of our needs. The location was excellent, so close to many great restaurants, laundromats, convenience stores and it seemed like a real bargain for being in the heart of Berkeley. My husband and I would definitely stay again.
