This is my very first time trying an Airbnb-style stay, and The NW Olympic Retreat completely exceeded my expectations! The house was spotless, beautifully updated, and filled with thoughtful details that made me feel at home right away. The living room was cozy, strong Wi-Fi, and smart TVs in every room, and both beds are incredibly comfortable. The host was warm, responsive, and made the whole experience stress-free. The location is perfect: quiet and safe, yet only minutes from downtown Port Angeles. On-site parking was super convenient too. For a first Airbnb experience, this stay truly set the bar high. I would happily recommend it to anyone and would love to return. Definitely a 10-star stay!

What a gem this motel is. I arrived and was greeted by Jimmy, the irrepressible cheerful receptionist/owner. I'm quickly allocated a room, introduced to Lucky, the 14-year-old Black Labrador, and then given a detailed list of all the things there are to do and see in Sequim and the Olympic Peninsula and National Park. Jimmy recommends the 101 Diner next door (and I endorse his recommendation) as a great place to eat. Set back from the road, there is virtually no traffic noise and, with a very comfortable bed, I slept very well. I will definitely be booking a room here if I find myself in the Olympic Peninsula again.

The property has literally everything you might need on a roadtrip stay. We really appreciated the washing machine/dryer, all kinds of plates and pans, teas, coffee, herbs, kitchen towels, oil, huge oven and fridge, microwave, modern kitchen, dishwasher - rare things to get in tiny houses/airbnb! Most of the time such houses are empty bur this one has it all. We loved it! Also a super cozy fireplace with s’mores station is loooove.

    Very clean and spacious room - two beds, full sized fridge, large closet, table and two comfortable chairs, lots of towels, coffee, free water. Owners friendly and accommodating (let us check in early). Convenient location, close to town and ferry terminal. Motel is older and furnishings dated but very comfortable (bed a little firm) and excellent value for the price. Would stay here again.

    Great location just a couple minutes from the ferry. Its an old hotel, so keep that in mind. But it was very clean, check in was perfectly smooth. Room felt pretty cozy. The onsite parking is a bit tight if you have a bigger vehicle but really convenient either way. Room had a full kitchen.
