I’ve been in a long roadtrip in California through many hotels, and this is by far the best staff I’ve seen. From check-in to check-out, the service was super friendly and we felt really welcomed. The hotel is very convenient as a base for south CA1 or for those visiting the Hearst Castle. I loved this staying.

Reception staff was super friendly and gave me lots of suggestions on the local bar and restaurant and where to see a good sunset. The room was spacious, clean and in a very nice grassy courtyard type setting.

Beautiful home amongst the trees. This felt like an amazing sanctuary. We loved sitting outside and enjoying the sounds of the birds and just enjoying the view. The home itself was really well equipped with all the little details thought out for a very comfortable stay. The hosts provided information leading up to the stay as well as during. I loved the recommendations for walking and trails nearby connecting you to the forest and ocean. The hosts even went the extra mile of spoiling us with a bottle of Rose on arrival . We ended up visiting the wine farm the next day based on that and really enjoyed that experience. We were sad that the fireplace was out of service during our visit, however this was no fault of the owner due to repair work needing to be done . There was however a firepit outside on the deck which we enjoyed using both nights and the fairy lights created such a nice atmosphere. We would happily stay here again and hope to do so in the future.
