Excellent place for a family get together. Nice, modern, well equipped entertainment area in a well postioned location. Comfortable rooms with outdoor showers. Guide went out of his way to ensure the best game viewing. Staff friendly and helpful.

The property was very good, had great facilities such as a nice pool area and the honesty bar. The staff were amazing and really made us feel like family. We even went out for a meal with them on our final evening. Bianca the chef was amazing, all her meals were so good and diverse. Selby our game driver was the best we could’ve asked for, he was amazing at spotting all the animals and taught us so much, was a genuinely nice guy aswell. We already want to come back and will miss all of the staff. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do a safari. We had a perfect experience. The hospitality was amazing aswell, they really do all the little details that made our trip so good.

A lovely, vibrant, and gorgeous boutique hotel. The rooms were very clean, spacious, beautiful decor with wonderful quality linen and furniture! The pool was refreshing on a hot summers day, and was so inviting. The duty managers were very welcoming and helpful in booking activities for us in and around Hoedspruit. The hotel is very central, and is within close proximity to excellent restaurants, as well as many private game reserves with options of Morning and evening safaris of which the hotel will arrange and book on your behalf. There are also many other activities to do within and around Hoedspruit. Would definitely recommend, and can't wait for our return! Thank you Khiwane, and your lovely team. Lastly, our breakfast included in our stay at the Harvest House Restaraunt was divine! 10/10, with many options.

If you’re looking at this review, book this accommodation! You will stay in a beautifully designed intimate lodge that is spotless and clean, with hosts that are true masters of hospitality. Every detail is considered with care, everything you need will be handled. For the price they far exceeded our expectations. You will receive 5+ star service, incredible food, and (if you wish) great conversation. We will personally tell anyone we know coming to the area to stay here. WOW - where should I start? Super pleasant and uncomplicated communication with the lodge. Warm welcome, sensational support, assistance is always offered on every topic. The breakfast was incredible - not only was it presented in a first-class manner, it was also super freshly prepared. the atmosphere of the lodge with its attention to the smallest detail is unbelievable! we felt welcome and at home from the very first second - the reality is even better than the pictures suggest! Thank you very much for this great experience - we enjoyed every second and are already looking forward to our next trip to South Africa.

Wonderful host, everything was as promised and more. Great location, secure and close to shops etc. Clean and everything you could wish for. We will make plans to stay here again for sure.

I liked the reception we had. I also met out guide whose name means "Hapiness". We then had an exquisite dinner under the stars with the owners. The food was so good I went for "seconds" (and therefore missed out on the dessert!). We loved the breakfast because we were by now friends with other guests - from Brazil and Saudi Arabia. It was a great experience

Lodge 54 is a recently renovated apartment in Hoedspruit, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace.
