What a great stay. We unfortunately only had two nights here, but were immediately impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the Muke Village residents. Alex was an incredibly friendly, kind and ambitious host who gave us an insight into Zambian life. There is a school next to the guest house and we were even allowed to attend lessons and spend time with the children. We will definitely return - probably even as volunteers - as we felt very comfortable and gained an authentic insight into Zambian culture.

All was new and clean. The house had a big battery in case of power outbreak’s. We had both airtel and mtn SIM cards because we work online while we travel and the signal was good so the signal towers were close. The owner fixed the road in the second day and it has a good sign from the asphalt road. I will return with pleasure for sure.

Kamunjila is not only a lodge to stay, it is an experience. Highly recommended, if 10 is maximum, this one is 10+. The premises are beautiful if you look for something authentic. Kamunjila staff is professional, welcoming, understandable, and always ready to help. The lodge is a great example of sustainability, proximity, and awareness. You need to go to understand. If you like to taste local meal, go for the fish from the Zambezi river, try nshima or taste mango picked up for you straight from the tree. Enjoy the garden and hear the stories about plants and animals from the local expert, great guide! Get impressed by the talented artist painting in the garden. My stay was wonderful. The hosts were so hospitable and friendly. I was well received and all amenities were well maintained and functional. I was extremely impressed with the quality of service from clean rooms, showers, friendly staff and to top it all consistent power supply. Eagle Weavers is well powered up with sufficient energy backup facilities and I was never affected by any power outages that are affecting Zambia at the moment i.e I experienced 24 hours daily power supply with excellent internet connection during my stay.

Everything,I never had a wonderful host like Elena,Brenda and everyone there. It was juste amazing, the welcome was just wonderful and the house was the most beautiful I never seen, it is better than the pictures. God bless them, my nephew has an accident but thanks to the host and all the people who work there helped us in so many ways that we felt reassured thanks to them.
