Rodney was an absolute hero welcoming is to the hotel. We couldn’t wish for someone better. He was polite, funny and made us feel right at home. The room was perfect, the breakfast was great and we used the hotel parking space across the street. Gent was fantastic but Rodney made our visit even better.

The hotel has 38 rooms and suites that are decorated elegantly with antique furniture. They also feature high ceilings or sloped roofs. All rooms & suites offer views of the city, king-size beds, free WiFi, modern technology and luxury amenities. This hotel feels like a place out of a Harry Potter movie. It's located in a chateau-like historical building. The building is so impressive that tourists are taking photos in front of it all the time. The corridors, lobbies and rooms are full of antique items like books, magnifying glasses, crystal balls, leather journals, old letters, whiskeys and all kinds of liquors. I was surprised to find such historic items all over the hotel, wondering how they kept them secure. The barroom feels like a magical place where you wouldn't mind spending your evenings. I almost don't want to write this review for fear of too many tourists visiting this hotel and that I wouldn't find a room next time.

The location is perfect and we enjoyed the quietness even though we are right in the city center. The breakfast is lovely and the host Marc is very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

From this excellent location, guests can easily walk to all the main attractions such as St. Nicholas Church or Post Plaza Shopping Centre. Everything, definetely will be my place to go my next visit. Peoplle was very helpful, the hotel is beautiful, super clean, modern and the best thing is the convenient location, it cannot be better!

Private parking is available on site. i liked how teh staff was helpfull and super nice. the moroccan lady helped me correct something wrong and was supportive all the way. the place is so clean and very minimalistic

This place feels more like a cozy guesthouse than a typical hotel — and that’s a good thing! The location is super convenient, just a stone’s throw from the train station. Since we arrived in Ghent by train and left the same way, it worked out perfectly for us. You can reach the city center in about 20 minutes on foot, or just hop on a tram that stops right by the station — easy peasy. Downstairs there’s a fully equipped kitchen and a chill common area, which came in handy for preparing a quick bite or stashing some breakfast essentials in the fridge. Tea and coffee? Free and flowing! The place is spotlessly clean, and you can tell the building was recently renovated — everything feels fresh and inviting. Before we left, we had a lovely chat with the owner, who was incredibly warm and friendly. If we ever come back to Ghent (and we hope we do!), we’ll definitely stay here again.
