To provide a more unique piece of comment, when I arrived late, tired and outside of incheck hours, I found the bedsheets presented neatly inside-out. In case we are not familiair with how to make up a bed the easiest way, take the sheets inside-out and shake like crazy. I was tired and I was positively speechless (if I was talking). Never made a bed up so easily in my life, for real. On a more personal experience, Matt really gave me the “Swiss” feeling that other, more touristy places, failed me to provide. I felt comfortable and like at home in the area, but then in Switzerland. I will definitely come back here, to climb the mountain across Matt. I did not have the time for it sadly. The property had everything I could have hoped for and was v comfortable. There’s even a supermarket 1 min’s walk away.

The scenery around the house is absolutely stunning, and the room itself was very comfortable. During my stay I had my own private bathroom, which made everything even more relaxing. The atmosphere was so peaceful that I often found myself simply enjoying fruit and tea in the beautiful garden surrounding the house. It felt like a resort in itself, and I was so content that I hardly visited the major tourist attractions—so much so that the family even asked me if I wasn’t planning to go out anywhere! Although the house is in the mountains, there is a train station and a small supermarket nearby, so I never felt any inconvenience. They also provide a pass to travel around the canton of Glarus, which was very helpful. But most of all, what made this stay unforgettable was the warm care and thoughtfulness of the family who welcomed me. Their hospitality truly made me feel at home.
