They rent bikes and offer a tour to the Grey and Red desert which we took as it was nice hearing about the fornations, how the desert (or rather dry tropical forest) came to be. There's a lot of different types of birds in the garden. Since it's in a desert, there's no electricity, meaning there's no fridge, but they have ice available if you want to cool your drinks. There's no wifi which we didn't mind as it was nice to relax and just enkoy the nature. Staff was very helpful with organizing the transport back to Villaviejas. The room was nice and quite spacious, clean, but very hot (which is to be expected in the middle of the desert). There's a fan in the room.

The staff was amazing and had great attention to detail. Highly recommend staying at least 2 nights to be sure to see the stars and enjoy a full day with the guide provided by the hotel. Also appreciated that they sent the guide to show us the way to the hotel once we arrived at villavieja. Would stay again.
