We had an amazing time at Weingut Gehlen-Cornelius. It exceeded our expectations in terms of the room, breakfast, vineyard and wine. This family-run bed and breakfast hotel is located directly on the Moselle with a view of the Reichsburg castle. It is just a 10-minute walk along the Moselle promenade from the historic old town centre of Cochem. Lovely hotel away from all of the noise in city center but convenient bus stop across the street. We took the train from Koblenz and caught the bus to the Sehl stop. Bus fare was 2.30 euros. Hotel is located on the Mosel with lovely views and a grocery store next door. Breakfast was very good, full pots of coffee on our table for those of us accustomed to Americano coffee. I would definitely stay here again.
