The resort provides some rooms with sea views, and rooms have a balcony. We had the most incredible stay at Mai Sunset Island Resort in Fiji, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made us feel like family. The resort is a true paradise, nestled on a pristine beach with swaying palms and crystal-clear waters that seem to glow at sunset—hence the name, and it absolutely lives up to it! Our bure was a perfect blend of traditional Fijian charm and modern comfort, with a cozy bed, stunning ocean views, and an outdoor shower that felt like a little slice of luxury under the stars. The food was a highlight—fresh, local ingredients crafted into delicious meals, with the coconut ice cream being an unforgettable treat. The compulsory meal plan was worth every penny, offering a variety of dishes that showcased Fijian flavors. The activities were endless and so much fun—snorkeling over vibrant reefs, kayaking along the shore, trips to the local village or just lazy stroll along the beach. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every experience was seamless, always with a smile(thank you Male, Nivi, Ave, Vinie, Rauga). What truly sets Mai Sunset apart is its serene, intimate vibe. It’s not overcrowded, so you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. The connection to Fijian culture was also special—learning about local traditions and seeing the care put into every detail made the stay meaningful. Surrounded by a garden landscape, this property offers a day spa, an outdoor pool and a restaurant. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. We loved this beautiful Resort. The wonderful beach, the exceptional facilities, the friendly staff. Especially the Manager Alfie. The moment we stepped on the beach from blue lagoon cruise ship, we immediately impressed by the friendly atmosphere and its beautiful surroundings. Although unfortunately My husband got stomach bug the very night after we landed and ended up too sick for us to enjoy the resort during our very short stay. We left resort with great appreciate for the great care and support from the Manager Alfie. His caring and calm manner greatly eased my worries as I was concerned more serious situation it might be. We highly recommended that truly paradise. We think about revisiting in the future to enjoy what we had missed this time.

Amazing resort with wonderful beaches and great food options. Superb customer service and excellent staff. Can’t recommend enough this place, just paradise. Set on 1 km of beach in Likuliku Bay, this resort offers a swimming pool and a luxurious day spa. There are 2 bars, a restaurant and a variety of cultural activities available. Guests can go snorkelling, fishing and kayaking on site. Resort is located on a very wide and long sandy beach on Waya island. Our apartment was just on it, we had a nice sunbed just for us. Bura is very spacious with a small balcony with another sunbed if you want some shade. Our bed was very comfortable and we had both fans and AC. The bathroom was big, with 2 sinks and a open air shower. It is mandatory to take their full board meal plan. All breakfast, lunch and dinner are a la carte and you can choose between several options. The food is very delicious. There is also coffee and water free all day round. We took direct shuttle from Nadi to the resort and turned out to be a great thing to do. It is cheaper than Yasawa Flyer and the ride was shorter. We had very calm ocean at the time, but I guess it might be a little bumpy if there are waves since the boat is for 20 people max.

Tai Evi 2 is set in Soso and offers a garden. The property features sea and mountain views, and is 400 metres from White Sandy Beach.

The homestay comes with a flat-screen TV. The accommodation is non-smoking. What a wonderful and memorable stay in a traditional Fijian village. We liked it so much that we ended up staying in Soso village for a month. Silo, Bill, Va, Rob, Simi, Luisa and Iki, we will never forget the great time we had with you. You took good care of us, prepared extra food for the children and helped us when they got sick. As for the village. The people are very friendly, with a lot of children, so our kids made friends instantly. The beach in front of the village is beautiful, with a nice healthy reef to snorkel and there are some nice hikes with spectacular views over all of the Tasawas. As there is no light pollution, stargazing is breathtaking and the manta ray passage is just around the corner. The accommodation is very basic with a bucket shower and no-flush-toilet, but the beds are comfortable and the food is great. Note that the water available is rain water, so if you want to go safe, bring your own bottled water (or aqua-tabs) from the mainland because there are no real shops on the island. Also, you should wear a Sulu (Sarong) around the village and in church, men too. And it’s expected that you bring a kava root (worth 20 FJ$) and/or some money to present to the chief of the village when you arrive.

Guests can take in the views of the sea from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. I think this is just one of the best places I ve been. Hospitality, location and new clean rooms. Thanks for this great memory
