The hosts were welcoming and passionate about their hospitality business, which definitely deserves admiration and support. The breakfast in the morning was simple, yet delicious in the way only the french know how to deliver. Warmly recommended!

This is a very beautiful place to stay. From the amazing scenery from every angle to the impeccable hospitality of the hosts. We felt comfortable and welcomed. The property is non-smoking and is located 40 km from Moulins-sur-Allier Train Station. We had cycled 170km from Briare in very high temperatures which set our expected arrival time back a few hours and our hosts were very understanding. Upon arrival in Diou (it was a Monday evening around 6pm) nothing in the village was open and our hosts drove to a neighbouring village to pick up a couple of pizzas for us. We are eternally grateful! We couldn't ask for more. The accommodation it's self was a self contained annex within the grounds of the main house. It was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed including facilities to wash our cycling clothes. We had a lovely evening sat outside eating our pizza in beautiful surroundings. We fully recommend Petit Mas Cosy if you are in the area but please note Diou is a small village and food outlets might be closed on certain days. (I think this goes for many villages in central France during the summer months)

The thing about this property is the owners. They are a couple in their 60s who put everything they have in trying to do the best for their guests. They always had a smile and a kind word. The home cooked meal at the communal table was excellent.
