The breakfast was among the best I've ever experienced, the room nice and clean and very close to the town center. Had to do some work and the WiFi worked great.

The property is located 36 km from World of Beatrix Potter, 23 km from Kendal Castle and 28 km from Cathedral Church of St Peter. Lancaster Castle is 29 km away and Lancaster University is 38 km from the inn. Such a lovely cosy, comfortable and dog friendly place. The staff (Sean and Helen) were exceptionally kind and helpful. I was travelling with my brand new puppy and they made it so much easier for me. Can’t recommend this property enough and we will definitely be back.

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis.

The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Some units include a seating area where you can relax. Certain units feature views of the mountains or garden. Victorian House features free WiFi . Staff couldn't do enough to help... Wonderful stay amazing breakfast...

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. With free parking and free Wi-Fi, it serves hearty breakfasts cooked to order. Guests can swim in the property's off-site pool. Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

The surrounding National Park offers plenty of scenic routes for walking and cycling, and Ambleside is a 10-minute drive away. Windermere Rail Station is a 5-minute drive from the building. There is free parking and secure bike lock up on site. Clear instructions for checking in. The room is clean and few miles away from Bowness. We had an amazing time in Lake Districts

Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park.

The Highfield is in Keswick, in a quiet location among other hotels and homes. Keswick town centre is just a few minutes' walk away, where guests can find the popular Theatre by the Lake. I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cosy and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location is perfect — close to shops, restaurants and public transport, yet quiet at night. Breakfast was fresh and varied. A pleasant, comfortable hotel with a warm atmosphere. I’d happily stay again.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning.

Each stylish room has fresh light décor. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

Please call the hotel prior to booking to confirm if there are any events taking place at the hotel during your required dates as there may be loud music until 12am.
