It is comfortable and conveniently located to many excellent restaurants such as Kelp and Ardnamurchan, plus lots of great pubs. The Piper's Tryst has the x-factor. For instance, our room had a large wooden window that you could open enough to jump out if you chose. Which means you can ventilate your room well, unlike most hotel windows that only open a crack or not at all. The bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was simple but of superior quality, fresh cut fruit, porridge and fresh baked rolls, with good jam, not little plastic packets of nondescript jelly. The small bar was fun and though the restaurant was closed I heard it was a hidden gem...next time. Also there happened to be an impromptu band of 8 or 9 young musicians that played Scottish music to everyone's pleasure. And, your stay helps support the National Piping Center, located in the same building. Highly recommended.

Auchendennan FarmSelf Catering Cottages offers a beautiful setting in Arden, a short walk from the shores of Loch Lomond and only 2 miles from Balloch. These charming cottages are purpose-built and have free Wi-Fi. What a lovely property. The studio was spacious and well lit. It was sufficiently stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Everything was clean and beds were super comfy. The private garden was the highlight. Also, although a bit further from the city, which shouldn’t be a problem even if you don’t have a car since cabs are easily available, it was right across the road from the loch. The farm right outside the cottages was lovely. Peaceful location.

The property is non-smoking and is set 300 metres from Sauchiehall Street. We had an amazing stay! The apartment is spacious, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable – it truly felt like home. It’s located in a quiet area, yet just a short walk from all central attractions and very well connected to public transport. The three large bedrooms and the generous living area made it ideal for our group of five – we all had enough personal space and comfort. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need – all appliances, utensils, and supplies were there, and nothing was missing. Communication with the host was excellent – from check-in to getting the keys and any additional support we needed. A big thank you and congratulations to the host for offering such a great place. We would definitely come back!
