Richard, the owner, answered all of our many questions quickly and gave us a ride to the ferry landing to recover our car. It is the jewel of Tobermory.

The Kirk Cottage offered a fantastic continental breakfast to start the day. It was great to meet and converse with fellow travelers at breakfast and hear of their adventures on the Isle of Mull. The cottage is a 2 minute walk away from a beautiful vista over looking the bay of Tobermory. The owner Allison was very accommodating and friendly. Allison offered great local knowledge and fantastic suggestions on places to visit. The only possible drawback or challenge for some would be the steep hill leading to Kirk Cottage, especially if you're walking from the bus station to the B&B. Although it wasn't an issue for us, it could be a challenge those with some physical limitations. Tobermory is a must visit and Kirk Cottage is a great place to stay. Cheers!

The property is non-smoking and is set less than 1 km from Iona Abbey. The Hotel is owned and run by people from the Island Community. That's a wonderful thing because it means that the hotel is connected to the place in which it is situated and Iona is a very special place. The Staff are sound, the food was great and the location is wonderful. The three of us travelled by bicycle from Oban. We will be back for sure. Go raibh maith agaibh go léir.

At the bed and breakfast, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The restaurant was trust excellent with friendly service. I asjes for wine recommendations which were great. We did not finish the bottel but no problem it was kept for us for the next day! Very cosy rooms, luxurious finishing. People have thought this through. View on harbour from the large lounge. .
