I just reread the past comments - accept what all the good ones say at face value because they reflect our experience there. Irini was exceptional on the front desk and Elizabeth, who cleaned our room every day, was exceptional! When I read each negative review I wondered if they are referring to a different hotel. If those people were expecting a $500 a night experience they should have stayed in a $500 a night hotel - there are lots to choose from on the island. Having a rental car I found there was always a parking space to return to without having the negotiate the narrow streets of the inner town. My wife’s main criteria is a comfortable bed and a clean room and environment. Mohitero got 5/5 on both. We really enjoyed the gardens and the birds and the peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation returning. It was a nice place to come “home” to after a busy day. The pictures on Booking reflect what was saw while there.

Some accommodation types open out to a balcony and have a kitchenette to prepare a light meal. Everything was amazing. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. They provided bottled water, toiletries, and separate towels for the pool. The pool area was also immaculate, it looked like a travel brochure picture every single day. They have a bar by the pool where you can buy drinks and food. It's very reasonably priced and was honestly better than the food and cocktails at very expensive restaurants: delicious and really well presented. It's a really short walk to central Fira and is even closer to a supermarket and a place to get good gyros (Golden Grill). Last but definitely not least, the staff we great! They were really helpful and attentive, but would also have a bit more of a friendly chat which made the vibe comfortable and friendly. I can't believe the quality of the stay we had, especially for the price... I'd expect to pay twice as much for that quality. I'm blown away by everything.

There is a large panoramic seating area and a rooftop terrace with views of the Aegean Sea. Ms. Katerina was very kind. She gave us our room ahead of time and explained about tours and beautiful places to visit. The room was very comfortable, with excellent beds and an impeccable bathroom. Everything was perfect. I would come back a thousand times. I highly recommend it.

Artemis Village is just 100 metres from Karterados Beach and a 5-minute drive to Fira. If you would like to explore Santorini by car or bike, Artemis Village can arrange a good price for you. The room had a sea view and location was nice and quiet. Nice restaurant just down the hill and a bus stop just a 15 minute walk away made it very convenient. Having a pool and beach access so close was amazing.
