The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. The 200-years-old historic listed building gives the ambience of the 19th century. Some of the rooms have views of the Belső-tó. We liked the beautiful and convenient location, the thatched roof buildings, the dining room and the plentiful and delicious breakfast.

Great value for money, would definitely recommend and come again. The location is up on a hill, it's very peaceful, easy to find, it's has private parking.

Housed in a complex of 3 buildings, the rooms are equipped with balconies, cable TV, a refrigerator and bathrooms fitted with a shower. An excellent checkin process, with the guided tour of the site by the reception staff. The apartment was very comfortable, with a very good bed as well. We had a balcony too. The wellness section was amazing, including the jacuzzi. We also had access to complimentary bicycles to use, which made exploring the area great. A good, solid breakfast as well. 10/10.
